I have to say that I believe this thread to be the best reasoned debate in the last 3 years.
Let me make it clear, that the idea of Season ticket comitments was not about raising the funds for the groundshare. More about knowing that we will have the support through thick and thin. Not find that the novelty of travelling a few miles for a home game to watch us play in the SL, when we actually might lose some games, wears off. The idea of staged payments is one that could be considered, for this debate, so that a lump sum full payment is not required up front. Actually this is not official, just a what-if. We will not consider STs until we know we CAN gain promotion, which does actually include winning the league.
In the same way it would it would be nice to think that some of the players/management/directors might comit their future to us, perhaps without knowing what league we will be in or what ground we will play at. Well, a number already have!
Keep the debate going and let's hear from a few of the "silents"

I would certainly be looking to re-new my season ticket wherever the "home" ground might be. If that has to be done early just let me know.
When the groundshare venue is announced then arrangements can be made to get people to the match, car share and possibly a bus. I don't know what the problem is, there is NO choice in my opinion. Anyone who thinks that we can keep on asking players, management, coaches and supporters to "stand still" for another year is in cloud cuckoo land frankly. We go up this season or we can expect this squad to break up, it is unfair to expect them not to fulfil there promise. The majority of the current squad is playing well below it's level, to expect them to continue is wrong. If the BOD want to maintain the income from the loyal supporters, whilst we have to share then can they tell us what that means in the price of the ticket. Presumably, whoever we share with would want a "cut" of the gate takings, what would that cut be? Say 50%. Then it's down to the supporters to make that up. I would do that for the duration of the share, until the Bearwood Stadium is ready.

Slepe - In reallity it is not that easy and not everyone is as comitted as you. You are almost saying double the gate prices and we have a solution, but not all will want to travel, not all would be prepared to pay the increase, not all would go to as many games as now - in which case the income is down, costs are up and we have a ground to build. Your desire to renew is noted.

Your desire to renew is noted. I wasn't thinking of "doubling" the price. Just making up the "cut" of the landlord, would that be a set weekly price for the use of the ground? Regardless, of how many come through the gates. Not forgetting the increase in price for the SL. Would it cost more than we could hope to generate through the gate? We average 250 at the moment, could we expect 125 away from Tatnam?

baileypete has a good point. Perhaps we should do a survey one home match to ask everyone their views. However one thing I will say BP is that most of the active forum members are Season Ticket holders so should hold some sway.

No decisions will be taken on the strength of this thread. This is just an indicator, more for my own curiosity than anything the BOD have suggested.

CD Is there no way that, using Temporary fencing or some other scheme we could get an E Grading for Tatnam for the duration of the Bearwood build?

The decision lies with the School - Head and Govenors, who are also influenced by local residents.
Question was asked last year and we got a clear no.
Question has been asked again this year and the answer is still no.

I read with interest the posts on this thread. I totally agree with Steve Bean's post very well written. Surely NO ground share can be discussed until two things happen. 1. We win the league, everyone seems to think we will walk it, OK we might but we might NOT! Look at Chelsea for example coasting 5 points clear and BANG wheels are off! 2. Bearwood needs to be granted planning permission, and as a long term supporter from the Stadium days I know what Poole Council and their councilors are like. I would not trust a single one of them to deliver after the Branksome Wreak mess. I have spoken to one or two 'close' mates/fans we all seem to think get a stadium first, when we actually walk into it and it's ours THEN that is the time to push on. My personnel opinion is if the board decide we are to share then share some ware good, the only place is AFCBournemouth. Pay game by game and play all cup matches at the Tatnum, half a season say maximum 12 games. Hopefully the extra rent could be made up with interested AFCB fans.

What a great piece by Steve B, I think he sums up how a lot of people feel. I will have my 7 seater available for bus duties as well. Have just read Benito's thoughts, and that is very logical and well thought out. Obviously we don't and shouldn't know what the BOD are up to

"Obviously we don't and shouldn't know what the BOD are up to" Really, why not? I think that Fran means that there are things going on that we cannot always know about at the time. When you look at other clubs you realise that we are kept better informed than any other club. Just look at the dissent on some of the other forums.

Benito - Agreed if we do not win the league we do not need a Groundshare. However we can't wait until we are champions and then look around.
Assume we will get a groundshare in Jan, Bearwood in Feb, Champs in Mar and Promotion in April then the Vase in May

The BOD deserve a huge night on the town when all the hard work comes to fruition.
