i've just logged my support, but had a look at other views and there are loads of objections particularly in the last couple of days. we desperately need anyone and everyone support this. Come on guys enlist your friends families and neighbours Well said nursejojo, from what I've read and seen Poole Town FC has had very little help in the past. Now certain sections are putting themselves out to help us, but, if we don't help ourselves it could all be in vain. Every supporter, player, plus families and friends of both groups and more should register their comments. Otherwise if we don't get promoted on the question of "ground grading" anyone who hasn't attempted to get behind the club and its allies on this proposal, have not got a right to moan at the club. Here is the link again, it takes seconds to comment. wam.boroughofpoole.com/WAM/showCaseFile.do;jsessionid=1533395D3F5F5EA4BED17606B9C51A64?action=show&appType=Planning&appNumber=APP/09/00936/F

logging in from Alamosa Colorado, bright morning here in the South-west. do not be discouraged about numbers, the numbers we need are amongst the pols....and the ultimate question for Polle residents is do they want a successful non-league team representing the town and doing some much needed upgrades and programmes to encourage youth. also we should look for support along the main road....the businesses will welcome us
BACK TO BACK

Just heard from a friend in Australia who has just posted a message of support. I think expat is right, it isn't just about the totals for and against - it's about the arguments for and against and we have the strongest case. BUT, keep posting .......................................................

We got more positive hits today than negative. Thanks to all those that took the time to stand up and be counted. I enjoyed reading them today!
This however was just one day, we are still a long way behind and still have a few days to close the gap. Keep those messages of support coming.

Hi guys,
Have posted my comments of support on there but they haven't appeared, I assume they are moderated first and will appear later?
Also having not been on the thread from the off and having noted some of the comments on the council site has anyone thought to canvas opinions from the current neighbours? I note some positive ones from some there - may have been done already but just a thought?
Best of luck.

I've just posted this message on the AFCB supporters forum. I hope it will drum up a little bit of support. Rob For those of you who aren't aware of it, Poole Town were last years Wessex Premier League Champions. Unfortunately we were denied promotion as our ground at Tatnam is not up to standard. We are now trying to build our own stadium on a small part of Branksome rec. and the councils final decision is being made very soon. A group calling themselves BRAG are opposing the development and are using spurious information to stir up opposition from the neighbours. Please help Poole Town in their bid for improvement by logging onto the council's site here wam.boroughofpoole.com/WAM/showCaseFile.do;jsessionid=153339... and leaving your comments in support of the proposal. Thanks. By the way. If our games don't clash, why don't you come down to Tatnam to watch us some time. You can be guaranteed an exciting time (after 11 winning games our goal difference is +34!!) and it won't cost you an arm and a leg. £6 adults; £3:50 Seniors; £1 kids. Bring along your AFCB season ticket or stub to the last AFCB home game and you'll get in for half price. See you there but please support our proposal today

I've spoken to Bob Wilson (ex Arsenal & Scotland) on the golf course at Canford Magna this morning and he's promised to support us online. Harry Redknapp was supposed to be there but I never saw him to ask.

Nice one again Rob we also delivered 1,020 leaflets of all sorts today, with atleast 620 of them with details of the planning proposal. If anyone else has an initiative to help boost the positive comments let's hear them. The club needs as much help as it can muster.

Nice one Rob, I saw your post attached to another thread on the same subject I searched the AFCB forum before I posted to see if anyone else had done it and couldn't find anything so went ahead with a new thread. Then I find it has been attached to another thread that I guess must have gone dormant. Apologies to whoever got there first; I wasn't trying to steal your thunder. Better twice than nonce ;D ;D

I have been speaking to School Governors from all over the Borough, they were all behind our proposals. I have asked them to put their comments to the Council.
