In these difficult times and knowing how close knit the community of Poole supporters can be, this thread has been started so that any Poole fan who needs help or knows of another who needs help can post here to give others the opportunity to provide the help requested by making contact through Private Message or otherwise

Further to this, those who are signed up to receive email news from BCP may have seen this. It is a support contact helpline that will allow vulnerable people to access support. “ We know that this is a stressful and worrying time for everyone and we want to assure you that the local community is coming together to help and support those of you that need it.
Many of you who are self-isolating will have family, friends and neighbours already supporting you with accessing food and every day essentials. We've seen our communities unite to launch support groups across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole to help each other during this time.
We also know that there are some people in our communities who do not have a support network in place. For these vulnerable people, who have noone to support them, we have launched a dedicated helpline. The phone line is open from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.
Through our Together We Can community response we have more than 1500 volunteers plus council staff who will be on hand to help by picking up and delivering food and essential items, as well as providing a cheerful voice to break up the long days of self isolation.

Please pass this information on to anyone you think may be vulnerable and without help or support. “

Guys this is important, I am one of the 1.5 million vulnerable and have been "shielding" for the past 16 days. I have a further 11 weeks incarcerated. Luckily I am not alone but others are. Be good to each other.

Be good to each other. In my few trips out for provisions, I haven't seen that many. But quite a few in the over 70 bracket are still having to go out for similar reasons. They should be ok, at the moment, as everyone is doing the social distancing thing. Let's hope it keeps going. As someone with Asperger's it is quite easy for me as I have been doing it all my life!
