Yes such a shame... Gave the club everything. Thank you Luke all the best for the future. Me thinks with the situ as it is we might well lose more of our playing squad. COYD

Take a look at their website, they have 35 Club and team Sponsers listed, Nearly the same number of people that attend the matches!

We should have sold share! Anyway looking forward to hearing of Chris' interview tomorrow

Best keeper I have ever seen at Poole. As said elsewhere, likely to be a lot of turn over of players at many clubs in coming months. Key is we still have a club to support, when ever the season does commence.

For now anyway & for whenever next season is that is. The next season after the 1939/40 season was cancelled, turned out to be 1945/46 for the FA Cup & 1946/47 for everything else. Hopefully not that long this time.

Dave, as you probably know, the Second World War put the kybosh on football in the years you mentioned. Don't want any more of those. Ken Dodd used to say he knew when war was about to break out when he could hear Vera Lynn gargling.

I see Toby Holmes has signed for Taunton. Wish him well. Apart against us of course! Begs the question the clubs signing players are they paying signing on fees? As no one yet knows when next season will start? Or indeed if it will take place. If it does start without paying spectators, bar, food, retail sales etc, how will the wages be paid? Has anyone on our BOD heard from the Southern League about a possible starting date & indeed what conditions. Ie behind closed doors or stadium open but club house closed etc.

Yes not surprised as Taunton have lost 4 of there best players in the last week me thinks Truro will again be the team to beat if/when footie does return as they seem to be assembly a very strong squad and yes I guess it would be nice to hear what might be happening in the future for the club.. Who knows what the NL set up will look like post COVID Given the parlous state of our finances will we be able to compete in the Southern League?, it has been pointed out in the past that given our financial woes we do not get "First dibs" on available players because we cannot pay what the other Clubs are able to. AFAIC see we are like water circling the(Tatnam) drain. Same old circle'Same old drain and one day we are going to go down that drain Other than the COVID crisis we see the same discussion here every close season.Players?Pitch? Penury!
