27 entries, 12 different scores, one of which turned out to be a real winner for two players from this week's prediction league, one of whom is in a rich vein of form, ellisgs' success levels in contrast to the decline of the on-field Dolphins.
Whilst Poole are looking over their shoulders to see the danger levels, ellisgs is looking down on a now comfortable twenty two point lead over canforddolphin, and just a few games ago this pairing were going head to head. Are we looking at the new champion who has just gone back to back maximums and taken their tally of exact scores to an astounding TEN games from the 41 they have predicted in

Really surprised that there has been no comments on the game yesterday. Although we had 5 players missing due to injury/unavailablity we played you off the park with some excellent football despite your current manager's assertions in his post match interview. I found it disappointing that he did not acknowledge that there was only on team playing football, ripping open your defence at every opportunity. Yes, you had some half chances but I did lose count of the number of shots at our goal which sailed not only over our bar but also out of the ground.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

The mood here is quite down at the moment given our results so the board goes quiet. Trust me we'll cling onto anything we can get and if we had a few shots (on or off target) we'll take that as being well in the game! As an aside (and as a Welshman) is there any consideration amongst Martyrs fans for Merthyr to move into the Welsh pyramid? Surely trips around Wales would be preferable to Cornwall, Dorset, London and so on? You'd be challenging for the title in a heartbeat too. Much more palatable than TNS winning it every year! Does it ever come up?

Does it ever come up? Putting Whisken up front for the last 15 minutes shows the dire staits you're in. The FAW and certain sections of the fanbases of clubs in the Welsh Premier League would love us to be in the Welsh system. However apart from the first few years of the club's existance we have always played in England. In fact, at one time there were 7 or 8 Welsh clubs, if not more, playing in the Southern League and we were in the Football League for several seasons in the twenties. At the time the League of Wales was formed we were in the Conference and were not part of the "irate eight" who fought against the FAW with several of them forced to play in the English system at grounds in England and eventually all bar us and Newport now play in the English system. Should it ever be decided to move into the Welsh system we would go into the 2nd tier (Cymru South) and we not be parachuted into the WPL. The vast majority of our supporters, me included, want to stay where we are and progress through the English pyramid. To be frank our journeys into England are a lot better then trying to travel up to North Wales on single carraigeway roads particularly for midweek games.

Love having Welsh clubs in the English pyramid. In the 19th Century clubs from not only England & Wales but Scotland (inc Hearts, Queens Park, Rangers & Patrick Thistle) & Ireland (inc Linfield Athletic & Cliftonville) entered the FA Cup.
