I know that everyone at the Borough will want to pay our respects to Irvin with a minutes silence before kick-off on 4th January and am sure Clive, Chris and all PTFC supporters will be keen to do the same. There are probably more formal means of requesting this, but hopefully this can be arranged.
Many thanks.

I was keen supporter of PTFC from 1954-1967 when I left the UK. I do not ever remember Irvin losing his cool. He was a centre-half of the old school, not much got by him and with his height always dangerous on corners and set plays. It is good that he is being remembered so well, at the time I saw him play I beleive the Town were playing in solid red shirts and white shorts. So he joins other PTFC stalwarts like Peter Bellett and Jackie Henderson.....gone but definetly not forgotten!
