having read the post about the arrangements proposed for the Southern League, I was wondering if there are any concerns about the current set up for Step 5.
Anybody reading the 'Pink' last week will have seen that the FA put out new requirements last year & that teams such as Lymington & Christchurch have possible problems, one of which is that they share their grounds with cricket & are unable to put any permanenet hard standing an one side of their grounds.
Poole were not mentioned so, I am assuming, we are OK for this level.

This grading business is getting ridiculous! Don't these people listen to the news? How are small clubs with gates of 200 or less supposed to finance all these improvements? Let's have some of the many millions paid to the "fat cats" in the prem, filtered down to the grass roots. Then maybe we will see an increase in the potential England players coming through. Where do they think these boys learn their trade. Get real FA plonkers.

I can reassure you all that we made sure the wessex league were involved in the FA inspection to make sure there were no slip ups so far as Wessex Lge status was concerned-we have made our peace with regard to our premier div status at least! The FA situation is sure to strengthen our position re grant applications for the Rec
