Chris, the pitch is looking in really good condition, have you seeded it in the last couple of days as there seem to have been a lot of pigeons/seagulls on it in the last two days? When would the club be hoping to start prep on Branksome?

Hi sterte hope you are keeping well?
To answer your question yes it has had seed on the suface, as im sure you all remeber we ended the season with a dry spell and due to the suface not being available till late this year due to school commitments and the fact that we are starting early this season means its been very tight for me to turn things around. i have an athletics meeting this week which involves children running over most of the pitch ..
ok well let me just fill you all in on what i have been upto
ok we have put down 20 tons of top dressing on the main pitch loads of seed the goals mouths have been turfed with a special mix which cost me the same as local turf The pitch is not yet ready for play but we are not far away it was cut yesterday and watering is on going
we i hope to be giving it another feed before the start of the season it had one at the end but i think another one will be needed
AS always any questions then please ask and i hope to see you all at the start of the season
Many thanks Chris kelly (Groundsman)

Chris, noticed a lot of pigeons on the pitch this morning. Can we get a broom handle and a post, if we tie Slepe in his Everton shirt to it, that'll be sure to clear them!! Or we could get the Major to shout at them ;D

You could put diplomatic relations back years!! We had a load of Plymouth shirts refused once as the children in Ghana had never heard of them!! Wish I hadn't, would've saved thousands and a lot of embarrasment
