hurn bridge is not up to step 4
believe me guys no stone is being left unturned to assess what options we may have
all the points made are issues we have thought about and have either discounted for all sorts of reasons or are still actively pursuing

Several interesting comments on Chris Reeves interview in The Echo Now I don't know anything about our previous groundshare at Dean Court but quite obviously our club was in a very different position morale wise and struggling to survive. From a (very) outside position I think DC is our best bet for a groundshare !. Exposure to local and national publicity 2. If we continue our present on field success the attendance will be better than anywhere else we can groundshare 3.Could open up the possibilities of up and coming players in the Cherries organisation playing on a loan basis for PTFC ......now cost if 100 supporters came up with 100gbp would that be somewhere on our way to paying for this, if it would then count me in.
UP THE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!

A great gesture Expat and one which I feel sure myself and other board members would match. The big problem as I see it is I that just to open a Stadium as big as Dean Court would entail lots of expense which is geared to a 4,000 plus crowd and I dont know whether our 400?? would make such fixed costs viable. That's assuming they want us in the first place!

the previous groundshare was when we were on the crest of a wave genuinely believing we had the support of PBC re the move to a new ground with everything moving sweetly towards that-its a long story but the rug was pulled unexpectedly to leave us with a superb side expensively assembled at the top of the southern league with no home!!
Dean Court is not an option

UP THE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!! Expat there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes by our club, so think positive Also, our neighbours finances are not exactly great ,and, they owe HMRC something in the region of £76K, I am led to believe. Which would need Guiness book of records fundraising abilities or a Lottery win.

Whatever happens regarding promotion from the Wessex League this season, one thing is certain and that is that Poole Town's rightful place is in the Southern League and they'll be there within the next few years.
Whether it's Poole or Wimborne that make it into the Southern League first, you can be sure that they'll be desperate for the other club to join them as soon as possible and it's not unrealistic to look forward to the two clubs playing each other in the Southern Premier in front of 1,000 fans within the next four years.

Totally agree. Whoever was running the books up the hill certainly needs a "carrer brief" from the fans, nothing can be worth risking the future of a club for. Can only be good for football in the area for all the clubs to do well.

150 supporters finding 500gbp each...certainly not impossible some will find more, others less. If we were issued such a challenge today we would i am sure reach it somehow...however we are not going to be challenged!!

At last some sense outsider, both clubs need each other and whilst Poole are favourites, they might be already counting their chickens, too soon, as football can bite you in the foot, remember Newcastle/Man U? It would be fantastic if on the 24/4 the title rested on that match as I am sure the Wessex League crowd record would be broken. Having thrashed Poole on the last two games, both away Wimborne will be confident, particularly as we have seen that Walker is so slow and clumsy on the deck against quick forwards which Wimborne have more than one of those players in their armoury! See you at the Newport game

It would be fantastic if on the 24/4 the title rested on that match as I am sure the Wessex League crowd record would be broken. Fantastic - Definition 1. conceived or appearing as if conceived by an unrestrained imagination; 2. fanciful or capricious, as persons or their ideas or actions: 3. imaginary or groundless in not being based on reality; 4. extravagantly fanciful; 5. highly unrealistic or impractical; outlandish: Recognise any that fit the situation? Yep. All of them. Get real. We'll be out of sight by then. You know that if you do go up, it'll only be as second best.

Expat, union membership is a non-starter in my line of work You'll just have to trust what the board are trying to achieve, not their style to talk about things until the timing is right or the deal is done.

This is for info and comments and corrections are both requested and welcomed.
If we look at the FA Regs for gradings, to get promotion to Step 4 we need to meet Grade E by the 31st March. BUT Grade E begins with the warning
"Clubs should be aware that they will have to achieve Grade D no later than March 31st following promotion to Step 4. It may prove more cost effective to include these additional requirements in any ground development programme for the E Grade."
So even if Tatnam could be squeezed into a Grade E rating within the next two weeks, we would only have one year to upgrade to the next level Grade D (I have not checked the consequences of failing this test).
So Tatnam cannot be the future (I know that this is stating the obvious).
With regards to Ground shares, I think I also saw a regulation somewhere that said they could not be undertaken purely as an aid to promotion.
I take that to mean any ground share that we enter into now would not count toward promotion for this year, but would help next year IF we won promotion.
Ground sharing is permitted by the FA but each league has its own rules. The Southern Football League (Zamaretto League) does not publish its regulations so I cannot comment definitively.
What does this mean for Canford Arena? Well we would need it completed by March 31st 2011 even if the BOD managed to squeeze Tatnam through an E grading, and it would have to be built to meet the criteria of D Grading.

Well stated John, we must look to the future and not just develop a ground at Canford arena that is only fit for one grade it needs to also meet, as you say, D level. ie more seats etc
