Still trying to ensure that funding is complete before starting. Last thing we want us to run out of funds and either be half finished or poor standard.

CD, with the current situation, what is the possibility of a 4g pitch at Bearwood. Would there be more grant money available for that?

I am not sure but don't think it is allowed in all cups. Would be a shame if we could not enter the FA Cup.

You are right, not allowed in the FA Cup and later stages of the Trophy. It looks like this may be reviewed soon however.

What's the difference between 3g and 4g John? Don't the plans inlcude a 3g artificial pitch? Is it within the boundaries of the new ground? Would that be sufficient to prevent league games being called off?

Unlikely as it would not meet ground grading criteria such as stand and seats etc. otherwise we would have used it this Christmas.

we had a cold front come through last night, temperatures expected to recover to mid 70s today!!. Seriously, better order some snow clearing eqpt for Bearwood and emergency supplies. People could get marooned up there!!(in the bar area perhaps??I write as a survivor of the great freeze up of '63; Helicopter food drops over Abbotsbury, country lanes impassable for weeks. I won't even mantion playing surfaces!!

I was not around but the story I was told was that the Thames froze over in Oxfordshire and someone drove a car over it.

There wont be a ground, planning permission has been passed for industrial units, i guess there is more revenue for units than there will be for a second rate football team.
This guy is obviously an idiot regarding his knowledge of the Mighty Dolphins, however when driving past i am sure i saw a sign regarding the above mentioned?

dubchek the area between Magna Rad and the football pitch/stadium is zoned for employment use if and when needed (no lack of available industrial units in a triple dip recession) but as far as I can see there is no application for that area published.
Also as you know the 3G training pitch is already built and in use.
