Many of you know that Julie has been fighting multiple cancers for the last four years. Sadly she has lost the fight and will be cremated on Monday. Few if you met Julie but those that did knowledge what our family have lost. Julie fought Cancer as hard as anyone could and the staff at the Dorset Cancer Centre and Community Oncology were fantastic. Julie was determined that Cancer would be beaten in a few short years and was an enthusiastic supporter of Cancer Research. If anyone would like to contribute in Julie's memory, a giving page has been established at donateinmemory.cancerresearchuk.org/0007142 Or tinyurl.com/hjjj3nfThank You John Anderson

Yesterday was Julie's funeral and obviously a sad day. However with the generous help of many including some of you, we have managed to raise around £1000.
When my daughter tried to raise money for Cancer, Julie watch the total rise like Terry Wogan on Eurovision night. If she is looking down on us she would surely have a smile on her face at that total.
You can still donate at the link above, or join me at the Swanage game on Saturday. It is also in aid of Cancer Research.

Totally astounded at the response. The total has exceeded £1300 and with gift SID the total is now over £1600. Donations from Steve Park, Tom Killick have helped toward this total and Brian donated to Cancer Research locally in t' North.
We were hoping to raise £500 so are absolutely delighted at the total. Thank you to all that donated.
It will remain open as we will continue to donate in Julie's memory.
