Looking through Saturdays Programme I read in Boardroom notes and the Secretary's Corner post, that it is assumed Poole may have never played Farnborough in a League match. The Clubs met in the Southern Premier League 1990-91 season with Farnborough winning both games 4-0 at Poole and 3-2 at Farnborough and they also won the League Title that season. All this sort of information can be found in the excellent book by John Powell, Poole Town football Club 1890-2005 surely the Club has its own records of its past History.

Gosh ethanevesmum! You are very ingenious. John Powell's book is an excellent compendium about Poole Town F C and must now be THE source for aficionados of Poole Town's history. It appears to be on the way to becoming a rare literary icon. It was on sale at Tatnam after publication a few years ago and I'd be surprised if the club and/or someone involved in the higher echelons of the club doesn't have a copy. I have one copy which I'd be prepared to loan if anyone is really desperate to see it. I would even consider donating it to the club provided I had assurances that it would be kept in a secure location such as a boardroom or director's office and be accessible on a loan basis to all Town fans.
