Brian - What about tonight? Another SF and a chance to show Dorchester and Weymouth that there is only one real TEAM in Dorset! Whilst you are pondering that peruse these from this morning: New Turstile Pavilion end Not quite finished, doors to be added, roof to be felted and flashed. Lighting to be added and the divinding grill. Looking good though. The Newly named Pavilion End. Note the groundboards stand out well, space available, talk to the Commerical Director. The second Turnstile. In future can be used for away fans for segregated games. This one is off Stanley Green. Both turnstiles will double as exits after the match. Work has commenced at the Stream end of the ground today. Both turnstile Pay Boxes should also be complete. Fencing on 3 sides expected to be complete by the Thurs before WB. We will need help with some changes to the Crowd restraint barrier and attaching tarp infil. This is unlikely to be this week. We are also laying more slabs for hard standing down the Pavilion End and need help in the next days.

Slepe - I (we) know that. Comments are more aimed at others who might nose around and not help out - we do not need that, we need help. Those that help will see first hand what is happeneing.
I plan to update each day, visiting at 0800 in the morning to discuss the days plans and what was achieved the day before and what comes next.

Incidentally on the 'pavillion' theme that CD has raised would it be very appropriate to call it the 'Eric Drake' Pavillion end as it is exactly four years since 'dear' old Eric passed away. Eric for those who never knew him was one of the original PTFC's Characters and could ALWAYS be seen around the Pavillion ready to unlock/lock the referee's door!! He would make us all chuckle by wearing his trousers under his 'armpits' if you know what I mean. RIP

So now we have a real stadium, what do we call the fours sides at Tatnam? - The Pavilion End
- The Northern End
- Holes Bay Stand
- The School Terrace
What about the Pavilion itself? Killicks Kastle The Tea Hut? The Clubhouse?

There are many people who have contributed huge amounts of time and effort to PTFC over the years and those I most admire are those who stuck with it during the wilderness years at Haskell's Rec and elsewhere in the lower reaches of the Hampshire League.
It would be impossible to honour all those who deserve it but I do think the names Chris Reeves and Clive Robbins should feature somewhere - maybe at Bearwood if we get it.

The Stand was funded by Football Foundation, Supporters and a large donation from Jacobs & Reeves. It is effectively sponsored by and should be called the Jacobs & Reeves Stand. Todays update: Works started on the away end The second Turnstile paybox built and in situ Todays work: Fencing to be completed on the Pavilion End and started on the Jacobs & Reeves Stand side. 70-off 900 mmx 600mm slabs arrived today and need laying. There is some barrier work to be completed and some concrete laying. Tarp infil for the crowd restraint will be ordered and that will need fitting, perhaps next week. Help needed, get down and offer your services. Reserves game tonight and WB SF tickets on sale.

Don't bother to go down today; work has effectively been rained off. Terry the fencer has 11 panels that he is determined to finish but the ground is too wet for anyone else to do any work. Dick is on his own there doing sentry duties. Plenty of work still to do and all hands needed next week for the final push.

This mornings Photos: Lower Turnstile externally complete now Upper Turnstile paved and roof felted. Doors to be hung tomorrow and internals to be completed. Stream end almost complete, will be finished today. Work over the next few days - More Slabs to be laid, 3 sides to be complete by end of Friday. F0urth side fence post holes to be dug starting today, sockets set, capped and back filled ready for Sat. Next week we will need to fix 400m of Tarp infil around the pitch (crowd restraint) plus drop the metal posts in on the 4th side and fix the mesh panels, then hang the tarp panels. Help needed. Thanks in particular to Dubchek who is helping all this week, having taken a week off work. I will not be able to get photos over the next 3 days as i will be up country on business. Would appreciate seeing a daily update from someone else? You can get access to Tatnam from 0730 each morning.

AMAZING! Thanks CD. And what a hero dubchek is! Thanks dubchek. And thanks to all who are helping. COYD looks very smart, what a great story to contrast against the League of Greed. I hope we are going to get some very good publicity out of this. TV local press, Nl Paper etc What's that old saying If you want the job done and well,do it yourself As an expat when i read so much of vandalism, negativity etc this is one great good news story.. UP THE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!

Here here, I am only sorry that I could not get down to help but a severe case of Bronchitis meant that the Scottish Dragon ( the wife) will not let me out of the house until Saturday. I have managed to sell over 50 tickets though
Well done BaileyPete and all the others that have helped. I can't wait to see it. I guess Fortress Tatnam really does look like a fortress now?

I hadn't been down since Wednesday when we had to put a hold on all fencing work but I managed to pop in late this afternoon. The Kelly's, Spike, Steve & Matthew, had just completed putting up the metal fencing to separate us from the school & then taken it down again ready for tomorrow. (Chris was otherwise engaged and Paul had to rush off to hospital where his wife is about to give birth. Good luck to them both/all three) The turnstiles are now complete but there is still a fair bit of timber fencing left to do but Terry the fencer will probably complete that pretty quickly once he gets the go-ahead to continue. For tomorrows game, the temporary segregation fencing is up, the portaloos are in place and as I left, the Marquee was beginning to take shape. If you haven't seen it since the work started, you're gonna get a real buzz from the way the fencing & turnstiles have transformed the ground.

Songs apart, a big thank you to all the stars that have alsmot transformed Tatnam form a playing field into a stadium.
Dubchek, Robtheshirt, Sterteroad the work that you and others have put in rely is greatly appreciated by those of us that could not help.
Most of the work was done by men and male Dolphins are called Bulls. So I salute you all the Tatnum Bulls!
