Have seen two mentions of Poole in print this weekend.
The NLP had a short article about the stadium plans with a quote from Chris.
And the QPR v Cardiff programme mentioned games the same weekend in the past. Besides a 2-0 win for QPR v Cardiff that I was at in 1981, it also mentioned the first round FA Cup tie when QPR won 3 - 2 v Poole - with Rodney Marsh getting all three in 1966.

I bet Marsh dived for at least one goal! Ah but when Marsh dived he did it with a certain panache. The three best player I ever saw play live were George Best, Rodney Marsh and the original Stan the Man, Stan Bowles. Granted I was a QPR fan (now my second team) but all of them were simply superb. Best however was the best.
