What is the latest in the debate on the Branksome Rec proposal? It seems to me that there is an ideal opportunity for the club to invite people local to Branksome to the AFCB game and see the club at it's best. I think we should certainly invite members of the action group against the ground to reassure them and to see our side of the story. I think it is important to have as many of the youth team players as possible attend, free if necessary as long as accompanied by an adult and create a good family atmosphere around the ground. And finally, will all the friendly games be full admission price as I do not want to enter into football poverty. I would like to attend as many of the games as I can but may have to choose which fixtures I attend.

;DGreat PR stunt to invite some of the Action Group to the games to see how smoothly things are run
Hopefully Chris Reeves will see this, give it some thought and put a plan together

Excellent idea, Seldown lad, maybe also invite some of those that are vital to the decision making concerning Branksome rec.

am away now until21st-please be reassured that this situation is under constant review and thought latest position as per my earlier update is that PBC are waiting on a report from consultants - expected end July we need to await that before any further moves are made We have huge sopport on the council from many who can see the wholesale community benefit the scheme will provide No postings from me for a bit but club call will be updated-09066555884 PTFC youth players are entitled to free admission to the ground and will be involved as sewards and ballboys/girls v AFC Admission to games is £5 and£3 apart from AFC which is £6 and£3.50 with a family ticket-2 adults and 2 children £15 Income from these games is absolutely vital to us - it costs huge money to keep us going and we have so much both to pay for and to save for!!! season ticket money and player sponsorship from supporters is equally vital plus if anyone can give us leads for programme ads or ground boards that would be appreciated give the lads a shout for me in the friendlies!

Thanks for the comprehensive reply. My thoughts were only that PTFC has an ideal opportunity to been seen in a positive manner with the forthcoming friendlies. Extending invitations to anyone with misconceptions and see the club for the themselves should be a good thing. My only concern for admission prices is that I think it is going to be a tough year financially but that should interfere with the club moving forward. Once again thanks for a thorough response.
