Slepe - Whoever has the largest wallet...........but seriously.........stadium...........that will upset the BRAGers. Do Hamworthy play at the County STADIUM?
m3 - Like that song more than the Farm. We can start signing it this season, how about 20,000 of us singing it at Wembley in the Vase?.................assuming we get planing permisson of course.

;D ;D ;D c'mon sterte ,PAN specifically wants no singing at Branksome...what is the distance from Branksome Stn to Branksome Rec??...and did i read somewhere of a shuttle. Last time i was over i stayed at York in Bootham literally a stone's throw from the York City ground, this is right in the city...there was no game on when I was there, i had to settle for watching a Scottish league game in Dumfries....now there is another ground right in town and despite the fact that they were playing Partick Thistle whose fans are reported to be"boisterous" I saw no problems with a crowd of about 3500,there were stewards but not much of a visible police presence......anyway who could be nasty to ? the Dolphin?? UP THE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!

Hello Dolly; nice to hear from you again. I'm really looking forward to getting off the train at Branksome (used to do a Sunday paper round from there with my dad about 50 years ago) and strolling down to see the Town.
Dumfries, that's Queen of the South. I'm surprised they had that many there expat even all those years ago.
Nice song m3. I'd prefer to stick with some variation including "Rec" sterte but maybe another naming contest can be arranged by the cd.

...what is the distance from Branksome Stn to Branksome Rec??... About 15 mins walk. About twenty on the return journey!!! All being well, I plan to get the train over, only takes eight minutes from Poole Main Station. Maybe we could be very green and have a football special?

My first ever pint was in the Branksome Railway when it used to be two bars and a games room.

Yes, I think so sterte. Or the one on Herbert Avenue - The New Star (my grandmother used to run the old 'Star Inn' in old Poole many years age and I think that's where the 'New Star' got it's name from). Or the Dorset Knob on Alder Road where I used to go when my other grandma who - lived on Alder Road - 'went on' and my parents moved into her house.

The Dorset Knob is too far away, and the New Star would be a fair hike too. Think the Railway would be the easiest access pub.

Reading? Southampton? Wherever it is, if I'm spared that long I'll be there. I'm sure you'll be here for a long time yet!! Anyway you've got to see us get revenge (in more ways than one) by beating QPR at Loftus Road in the FA Cup..
