What will happen if we win the league again this year???
Obviously there is no way we will have Branksome Rec up and running, how will we go up?
Also when will we see some movement on the Branksome Rec front,as in starting work there?
Do we have a plan of action for next season,i.e groundshare or some other idea?
Are we planning on going up if we win the league?
Sorry to ask but am interested to know.

Branksome Rec is taking up huge swathes of the board's time
we have an expensive team of professionals working on the planning application which at the planning officers insistence has become a massive exercise with many assessments reports and additional information-this has turned into a massive job but hopefully one which will result in a comprehensive application which is recommended for acceptance and covers all angles of objection-it has cost the club a huge amount of money
we are deep in discussion with FA Football Foundation and DCFA our scheme is a priority project in the eyes of FA with some high profile names taking an interest
we hope to have planning by end of year-our grant application we then expect to be fast tracked to the March meeting
we expect to have an agreement for lease with PBC in place by then to enable us to instruct contractors who will be on stand by
the work will take 10-12 weeks but the ground could be useable withinthat time
the FA have said they will look at giving us away fixtures to begin with if need be
we are working flat out to achieve a 2010/2011 start but as supporters will no doubt appreciate we are in many other peoples hands
one thing is for sure we need funds like never before!!
we will no doubt be having another open meeting of supporters before too long
hope all this helps towards an understanding of where we are

;D ;D ;D Thanks,Chris for the update on BR, obviously a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes...and even more reason for PTFC to go
BACK TO BACK
M3, a well reasoned answer to our reader from BRAG and perhaps if him coming to the Tatnam is a step too far he could go out to Swanage and see how Railway Volunteers have turned dereliction into a tourist attraction....and its good for business too.
UP THE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!

Thanks and good luck with the rec proposal..

realistically not until april 2010 --- there should be no interference at all with the Alder Road side
I am convinced that all sporting users of the rec will be delighted with what we do
please do get in touch with me so that I can deal with any concerns you may have and also listen to any suggestions you might like to make-would you have a use for the MUGAs ? If so I definitely would like to hear from you

I have no concerns. Was just curious when the plans would kick in. I am all for you guys getting to use the Rec. As I said before I run a Saturday team that uses the facilities and they are in dire need of updating. Poole CC (County Council) have not put any money into the rec for years and I heard last year they planned to update Whitecliff rec with new facilities....
The pitches suffer from over use - so my only concern for you guys is the state of the ground your pitch will be on and hope you have enough time to bed in a nice surface like you currently have at Tatnum...

Some very encouraging notes for the supporters in yesterday's programme, in particular this line - "The revenue earned from all of you is ploughed back into the club 100%"

Thanks for the info Clive and Chris. I wonder if there will be a stage at which an appeal for the new ground could be launched with sponsored seats, bricks, turf or whatever?

One of my few surviving relatives in Poole has started sending me cuttings from the Echo, the latest being a couple of excellent letters. One from from the leader of the council and the other from our very own Chris Reeves. Thanks Chris - you never stop do you!!??

Thanks fallauk - perhaps you could take the time to support us on the Planning website as we desparately need everyone who supports the scheme to let their Councillors know!

Do you have a direct link ? or and address to show support ? - I got a leaflett drop from BRAG asking everyone to vote against - are you planning a drop on the local residents with your plus points ?

THIS IS VITAL!!
Everyone who supports us must tell the planners!!
our opponents are doing that in numbers albeit in the main based on false info
we must stand up to be counted!!

Posted my comments - as you can no longer directly email. Lets get more people to comment and hopefully the Rec can return to a picturesk place and not an eyesore....
I see there is a lot of objections though - will this hamper the progress ?

I've also posted my comment. We really need to step up on this and get as many of us commenting as possible.
