Slepe we all love Tatnam and it can be improved with little effort for our next promotion. However the upgrade from Grade C (Southern Prem) to Grade B (Conference South) is too big and would need Bearwood.
So if all went perfectly, we would need Bearwood by March 2015.

One of my concerns and that of the BOD too I'm sure, is that footpath that runs through between the changing rooms and the ground. Constantly causes problems ensuring total security and making sure everyone pays. Is there any way the facilities currently outside the "boundary" of the actual ground could be placed on the roadside of the ground. Therefore allowing us to secure the boundary behind the goal. Even grade C promotion would deliver some increased gate sizes, and a potential considerable loss of income if things stay as they are.

March 2015! Seems ages away John! Hope I'm spared!
I see what you mean slepe. It's a good point and looking at the aerial view of the ground and that pathway, it doesn't look that difficult to re-route around the back of the main buildings. Maybe it's not as easy as it looks.
Meanwhile, If I win the Euro Lottery I'll either invest in Bearwood, buy a big chunk of the industrial area between Stanley Green Rd and the railway or buy back The Stadium and re-model it suitably.

Don't think that be council would let the Greyhounds or the Speedway use Tatnam if you bought The Stadium Brian.

when I first returned to the fold (When we were in Wessex2) The programme depicted on the net read "The Town are back in Poole" go on dig 'em out!! Well we are back in Poole...doing pretty well, close enough to our ancestral home to smell the dope from Tony Lewis' exhaust and the yelp of those dogs that haven't made it to the finish line yet.

We are the only game "IN TOWN" Talking of which 4-0 for the Town this evening. TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!!!

....just a thought. Maidstone Utd pitch "open and playable during the heavy rains and frosts of november and december" from Bill williams on their website. A Successful team, some comfortable accommodation for the fans and i think that in the SPL we will get gates approaching those of Weymouth(given our pop should be more) and memo to the Evostick AFCB home means PTFC away!! TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!!

Just a couple of seasons ago we earned over £20k in FA Cup winnings which I don't think would be possible with a 3G pitch.

It's here but I think expat exaggerates just a little! www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/football/10190380.Dolphins_boss__We_expect_promotion/#commentsListThere's only 4 comments - one is Expat's. Another one is a fairly typical whinger asking where we got the wedge from to pay our enormous (apparently!) wage bill and another calling us a second rate team. . I like Expat's response - but I think these threads are usually best left well alone. Start to feed them and they'll just keep finding something to bait us with. Just show them what we do on the pitch and the support at the games that'll give them something to talk about - or keep them quiet.

...I note that Cllr Eades is now Mayor of our ancient Borough. Which led me to speculating on the vast improvements the council and NIMBYS were going to make to Branksome Rec when they turned down our bid. Did they happen?
