Is anyone taking this seriously?
I don't usually follow twitter other than our match progress(Thinks. Remember the MLT and match day commentary? all gone it seems) Some very uncomplimentary remarks and even a couple of calls for our relegation due to ground issues!! never mind we have the rolling sponge! Can you imagine being sentenced to eternity rolling that thing around Tatnam. Some urgent action is needed!; Just imagine if we did squeak through the playoffs and being held back for ground issues AGAIN!!

Thx Mark
..and I am not denigrating the tremendous effort put in by supporters to try and get us where we should be(Lord lift us up where we belong!!) The fact is that this saga keeps repeating itself. Just when it looks as if that we might be in for a chance at the playoffs and what that might bring, the heavy weight of Tatnam hangs around our neck. I think we were denied entry to the Southern League on at least two occasions and imagine, letting Wimborne take our place!! From a very long distance I do not see anything on the horizon and this is being reflected in our attendance figures. Meanwhile half a mile from Tatnam the hulking shadow of our past stands empty. It is a great location and obviously need to be rebuilt so... A brainstorming session is needed. BCP,PTFC and Supporters Club, Poole Pirates and yes those dreaded developers\ Something has to give...let us hope it it is not the club we love. PTFC

As far as a new Stadium goes I think the brakes are well and truly on.

And as for the old stadium on Wimborne Road a speedway buff informs me that the Covenant on it is due to expire some time soon. And he reckons that when that happens the process of removing speedway full stop will begin. Not only will it be an old building it will also be an empty, unused one. What comes after that ?.

PTFC about to renew Tatnam lease until 2029 (another incentive to say on the right side of the soil?) but your post and what Director Rossiter says does make long term sense

Renewal of our tenure at Tatnam (sorry, the Black Gold Stadium) until the end of the 2028-2029 season certainly implies no new ground until after that which also means that National League South is the best that we can hope for in terms of progress. National League South is probably as close as we're likely to get to our zenith so that'd do for an old timer like me.

Actually, with minor improvements (another 200 under cover seating) we’d be able to get promoted to national league I believe.

BCP have no money. There is very little open space left within the Borough. Looks like the begging bowl will be out again come the end of the 2028-2029 season.

With the demise of the Bournemouth Saturday League there are spare pitches on every recreation ground in the borough

With the demise of the Bournemouth Saturday League there are spare pitches on every recreation ground in the borough The trouble is Town have been down this route before. The local residents always assume that the area will then be hosting 3000 drunken yobs every other Saturday, bring gridlock to the roads and block any attempts.

Just having a wee discussion on FB where one of the faithful is saying we need to give the Matt Pack "more time" Unfortunately the punters are voting with their wallets and heading to New Cuthbury where they pulled in 750 for the match on Saturday! So the "work in progress" theory does not work out unless one is prepared for another season of uneven results and ultimately disappointment, and the less than committed punters head to other stadia to spend their football money, What to do? ..and its Tatnam Forever!!
