An awful lot of nothing so far. Any shots are ambitious attempts from tight angles. 20 gone

Bedford flashes a header just wide - almost served to tee up Lee, but no luck.

GOOOOAL OUT OF NOTHING! Spetch sends a looping header from a free-kick to the back post, and Wright is well placed to nod it home. 1-0

Half-time here. Similar trend to Saturday - non-event for 40 minutes, before Poole snatch a goal shortly before the break. Goal has given Dolphins confidence to look for another, so hopefully we see a bit more action second half.

Bit of a let off as Hanger miskicks - Childs saves the second attempt, and then Lowes fires from the edge of the area - high wide and not very handsome.

Better second half, but a Tony Lee one-on-one was fluffed. Childs has been called into making some key saves.

Thanks very much for the superb commentary Jack.
Another 3 Points in the bag.
Just worries me how Swindon managed to get 5 past Farnborough today. As Farnborough played very well against us.

A good three points though so well done lads. Some odd looking results this week including the one mentioned above and what about our friends at Cuthbury - well done the Magpies! And while I'm being nice, well done the Terras as well! COYD

Funny old game this afternoon. Dorchester basically played a very defensive game and It's hard to see where their goals are coming from. Dolphins wise, the spark is most definitely there it just needs to ignite!! We really should have won by a clear two or three and one of them being a sitter found itself near the corner flag!!! Luke Holmes made a run from midfield during the first half and almost created a chance..... Fingers crossed Jamie Whisken is ok too..

Jack. firstly thank you for your commentary and allpoolearentwe.com. I know i am advancing in years but it seems strange to me that the NL pages of the Bournemouth Echo have not been refreshed in yonks! Speedway gets update and reports while some of the NL pieces are well past their sell by date. I think that you have hit on a niche for PTFC fans

Jack. firstly thank you for your commentary and allpoolearentwe.com. I know i am advancing in years but it seems strange to me that the NL pages of the Bournemouth Echo have not been refreshed in yonks! Speedway gets update and reports while some of the NL pieces are well past their sell by date. I think that you have hit on a niche for PTFC fans I have sympathy for the guys at the Echo, for the majority of the pandemic it has been two guys on the sportsdesk covering two different newspapers - Bournemouth Echo and the Daily Echo in Southampton. They're very supportive and will post any thing I send them, but for some reason the articles aren't being properly tagged as non-league, and as such, they don't show up under that section. It's something that has been brought to their attention, but I'll mention it again ahead of next week. It means they're pretty much impossible to find unless you have a direct link, or you go to my author profile page on the Echo website - which is also hard to find, because I'm not technically employed by the paper, I don't show up as one of their journalists. That's why I share them on here, and leave a link to my author page in my signature on the forum. There's also a link to that page on the about/contact section of AllPooleArentWe.com. In the past supporters of other local clubs have questioned why I don't cover their clubs as in depth as Poole, but I am one man working for free. Apart from the exception of the Dorset Echo, where the biggest sports clubs are the two non-league sides in Dorch and Weymouth, very few local papers can have dedicated non-league reporters. That's partly why I created AllPooleAren'tWe - it allows me to write more about one club, improving the coverage. As you can tell if you check the website daily, there is more than enough content to keep me busy. I'd just to like to say thank you to all that have checked it out and keep coming back to it. In just 12 days, I have had just under 2,500 views, 1000 unique visitors, and 20 people subscribed for email notifications. I'm not sure how that compares to the Echo statistics, but there is a value to having information about the club in the physical paper, so I will try and maintain that as long as I possibly can. I doubt I'll ever be able to make it my main source of income so my job hunt continues, but I'm confident I'll be able to maintain a steady flow of articles even if I do find a job in the near future.
