I notice that the 'Flashscore' website has us down as having already qualified for the play offs. However, we could still 'blow it' - just! For example, if we lost 0-6 to Swindon S. on Wednesday and then lost 0-1 to Hendon on Saturday whilst Swindon S. beat Chesham 1-0 that would do it. Unlikely, but possible! I apologise to all fellow Town fans for this pessimistic thinking but I've been following Poole Town for a very long time. On the positive side, only Weston-S-M of the top four have beaten us so let's 'get over the line' on Wednesday boys and then win the play offs! COME ON YOU DOLPHINS!

Its Never been easy BUT looking at the Swindon Manager on twitter I think that psychologically we have them questioning whether they can overhaul us whereas i think the Dolphins are in a great frame of mind an d i think that will carry the Town into and through the Playoffs
UP THE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN!!

The excitement today is to see who we visit. It has changed twice this afternoon. Currently (4.32pm) it looks like Bracknell at wherever they play these days followed by either a trip to Chesham or Plymouth.

With fewer that 10 minutes left we are going to Plymouth to face Truro. Truro have the best home record so far and we are 3rd best away. no 3-0 at Hendon.

So John do Truro actually play in Plymouth at the moment?? Expat, basically Truro City are owned by Cornish Pirates (Proper Team!) And are still waiting for the stadium for Cornwall to be completed therefore Truro City play at Bolitho Park, Plymouth... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stadium_for_Cornwall

Thank you Steve, A very good looking facility somewhat akin to Tatnam!! Our Dolphins should feel quite comfortable there1 Is this a special case as I understood SL did not approve ground sharing?

Good post ballboy A lot of us (including me) had more or less written off this season after that disastrous start in August. Tom and the squad have done wonders since then so I apologise to all of them for saying “season over” too soon! They still have a knack for early and late goals conceded though and for keeping us all on edge. Also, my lengthy time as a Town fan tells me that our record in important games like play offs and semi-finals is not especially auspicious. Let’s win it this time boys! COME ON YOU DOLPHINS!

That Bolitho Park must have one heck of a groundsman, I reckon they’ve (PP & Truro) played 6 matches on it on the last 8 days.
Or Is it 4G?

Was it worse than that hay meadow at Tiverton Rob? If so, it must be bad! Is the playing area part of ground grading requirements including measurements and playing surface? If not, it ought surely to be! COYD

I just want Poole Town back in NLS ASAP. Said at the start of this season, with the need to rebuild the team, it would probably take three seasons. But if we can do it in 1 fine by me! Also which other team get promoted with us, don't care one jot, just so long as the Dolphins join them. COYD 🐬 Said this back in 2019. Not counting any chickens yet. But if we do win the playoffs by beating Truro City on Wednesday, then either away at Bracknell Town or home to Chesham United next Monday, I can claim it to almost be true. 3 seasons 2018-19, 2021-22 & 2022-23. 3 seasons but five years because of the pandemic. So fingers 🤞 plus everything else it doesn't stretch into a 4th season over 6 years! UP THE DOLF 🐬

Appreciate that no one wants to be tempting fate by thinking beyond Wednesday’s game…but it seems really hard to find the date for the Southern League Play off finals (Prem or Div1)
There’s no mention on the respective club’s websites, nor the Southern League’s, and nothing in Sundays NLP
The only reference is on the Non-league Matters website, which gives the Final date as May 1st, which someone else has mentioned on here too
So is that correct, May 1st, 3pm ko’s ?

Yes the final is definitely May 1st, Not 100% sure on ko time Thank you. Kind of thought there’d be more communication from the SL or the clubs themselves, biggest games of the season and all that
