From Hendon Website
Today's game with Poole Town saw the biggest league crowd for a Hendon game at Silver Jubilee Park since we moved in seven years ago. The gate was 531
It was a bridge too far this afternoon at Silver Jubilee Park as Poole Town prepared for the play-offs in the best possible way with a 4-0 win over a tired Hendon side.
After Wes Fogden had opened the scoring shortly before half-time, two Tobias Holmes goals took the game away from the Greens before Fogden added his second, and Poole's fourth with the final kick of the game late on.
Congrats to Poole, its been a good season and lets round it off with 2 more wins and promotion.
Good luck for the match v Truro on Wednesday

Nice summing up from Hendon on their website. I can remember in the dark and distant past when they were a power in the non-league game, notably the F.A Amateur Cup, along with the likes of Dulwich Hamlet, Corinthian Casuals, Enfield and Ilford. Good luck to them for next season - Let's hope they're not on our fixture list!.
