No easy way to say this but one of the nicest people ever to have followed our great Club has passed away. Marilyn who with husband Mike hardly ever missed a game home or away was taken ill just before the presentation night and sadly died peacefully Sunday evening.Marilyn was a stalwart of the Supporters Club for so many years and her passing will come as a huge shock to so many. She will be greatly missed. As soon as funeral arrangements are known Michael has confirmed he is happy for the details to be announced - there is sure to be a huge amount of red and white / black and gold on show that day. RIP Marilyn.COYD

Virtually Marilyn's last gesture was to phone Pippa to ensure that Sylvia would be picked up for the presentation evening. That spoke volumes about her selfless attitude. She'll be sorely missed 😥

Oh man, this is really sad. We spoke at every home game and she was rarely without a smile, even when she said she hadn't been too well and had to miss a couple of games. It will be so unusual not to see her stood on the rail next season. Condolences to all of her loved ones, RIP Marilyn

Just a reminder that Marilyn's funeral is this Wednesday 7th June at 1.00pm at the Harbour View Crematorium Woodlands Burial Ground Lytchett Minster BH16 6AN.
Michael has said "smart casual" as the dress code and he is hoping for plenty of red and white/Black and Gold to be in evidence.
Any donations in her memory please to the Forest Holme Hospice Poole that cared for her so well in her last few days. Donations can be actioned via the crematorium website.
