There is a yellow warning for rain from the Met Office all day Saturday and Sunday, so I'll be keeping my eyes open for any news before heading to the match.

The weather for Tuesday looks ok. Which is probably when the match will be played. If so Salisbury will move to a new date.

I think given how much it is raining here now, just a couple of miles from the ground and how much it is still forecast to rain over the rest of the weekend, I was thinking that even this coming Tuesday eveing must be in doubt.
At least there was an early warning about today's postponement on the official club website.

Game off! Some things never change! We couldn't buy a break at the moment. One of the pumps installed to sort out the problem broke down some time over the last few days. New pump installed this morning and it's churning out the floodwater. Too late for today though I'm afraid. BTW things DO change. I can only remember losing one fixture due to rain last season after the expensive drainage system was installed 😉

The way it is still raining I have a feeling Tuesday night might also be cancelled...

Game postponed again - may now be played at Bracknell next week!
So sorry Rob for negativity - but some things don't change!
With Saturday already flipped to Beaconsfield going to be a while until we see another home game.

I'm not sure that I understand how this switching works either. If we switch our home game v Beaconsfield to their ground as appears to be agreed then does it still count as our home game? If so, we effectively play both our league games against them at their ground during the course of the season. I take the point about getting games played but that doesn't seem quite fair to me. And now it seems we are to play our HOME FAT tie v Bracknell AWAY as well! expat is right "It's never been easy" and it just got even harder!

Incredible when you think about it
One could even walk across the Twin Sails to The County Ground which is lying fallow (if 3G pitches can do that)
with the now Defunct Hammers no longer needing it.Yes i know their DPL side play there. Insurmountable?
Meanwhile WTFC will be only too glad to take our less than committed punters to add to their solid home attendance figures so far this season
and yet we remain committed to Tatnam until 2029!!
Given Tatnams record of cancellations and lack of facilities which have cost us very dearly over the last decade perhaps in between the personnel merry go round the BOD should take a serious second look at the situation

Given the amount of rain tonight, it is no surprise it is cancelled.
I am another one who doesn't totally get switching either. However, looking on the fixture list on the club website it seems this Saturday's match is listed as 'Away' and the return fixture is due on 13 April and is listed as being at 'Home'. So looks like a straight swap of home to away and away to home. That is no bad thing as it means the lads get the game time and the fixutres don't all pile up next Spring.
