A tonic for the team just what was needed well played all but Didcot are bottom of the league and a better estimate of progress made will be on Tuesday against Salisbury (top of the table) and the immediate games that follow.

Quite so ballboy. I saw the half-time lead of 2-0 and I nearly fell off my chair when I had another look at about 5.00 p.m. Great stuff lads. But ballboy is right, the real test is Salisbury and the following games. COYD

Ballboy, I don't know who you are but I can guarantee that you weren't at the game yesterday No one who was there would have come up with such a negative post. "Yeah, but", wait until we come up against a proper team!😠
Did we win ✔️ Were we away from home ✔️ Did we score 7 goals ✔️ Did we keep a clean sheet ✔️ Did everyone play their heart out ✔️ Did we play some beautiful football on a dodgy pitch ✔️ Did the RWA sing their hearts out as always in support of their team ✔️
I know they are bottom of the league but no-one has beaten them on their ground by more than 2 goals. In scoring 7 goals, the boys did something special there and deserve your full support, not be damned by faint praise.

You can only beat what is in front of you and yesterday was both a quality performance and a comprehensive win. As for Didcot being bottom of the league, well Swindon SM were bottom on Tuesday and beat high flying Chesham. In some ways these type of games can sometimes be the hardest since the opposition can often play ‘spoiling tactics’ and make things very difficult. Bottom of the league or not, the home fans I spoke to yesterday were blown away by our performance and had no complaints whatsoever at being soundly beaten by a far superior team on the day. Nobody is under any illusion that the next few games will bring different challenges but I’m sure our opponents will also view us equally in the same way.
