In my experience Chris Reeves has always spoken truthfully and from the heart and I am sure he wholeheartedly believes in the future progress of our club. My concern is whether he still has the influence within the board to bring this about. Only time will tell, but based on this I am prepared to cling on in the hope that our dreams will come to fruition and so will continue to see the rest of the season out. As for next season ?

We will update the Stadium situation in about FIVE rears time!
Many of us mushrooms would like to know why we are continually left in the dark
Another season like this will have very serious consequences for all of us
However it is perhaps indicative that our voices are being heard that The club has come out with this statement
BUT
as the slogan on our local Police Cars state
"Deeds Speak" !!!!

Funny that. We weren't going through a difficult period prior to Matts appointment. And as regards to the teasing of our future, yep, heard it all before. Its all fart & no poo.

The Chairman's remarks are very hollow as it gives the impression that there is nothing wrong and all is well. When the ship is sinking it needs urgent repair to fix the problem and if this does not happen then it will sink to the bottom of the sea and not be seen again!

How Chris hasn't walked away from the club he so loves with all the negativity we read from supporters.
The club is on a bit of a bumpy road but sorry folks you are going to have to trust the BoD.

Why? The statement that has been trotted out is akin to what a current Tory party spokesperson would say.... and yea, they're flavour of the month right now

I think it's fair to say that Chris has a lot of goodwill from much of the support, quite rightly after everything he has done for the club down the years. He has earned our trust. Faith and trust in the BoD as a whole can only go so far though. We have seen new stadiums at Branksome and Bearwood fall by the wayside and a quick search of the website shows club statements saying there is something happening 'soon' in both 2020 and 2022, and in the new statement there is yet another tease. If you keep promising news, eventually you HAVE to deliver or trust will evaporate.

We are told to keep the faith then a day or 2 day later find we have lost another member of the squad (Luke Pardoe).
That is now 5 players that have gone to Dorchester.
I want to stay positive but am really struggling! A shock result against Chesham would certainly help.

So the question is "Can we save the season" and build back better for 24/25?

Simplest solution is to amalgamate with Dorchester....their manager has a proven track record....we know half half their team...and to top it all they have a decent ground and facilities.
