If all is well with Poole Town Players and the Team is happy as the Chairman states the please tell us why they are all wanting to leave and play elsewhere ie Dorchester FC. This is an absolutely a disaster so please get rid of the Manager as no one seems to want to play for him or the way he wants them to play. Please take the action to save Poole town Football Club before it is too late.
There has to be something very wrong in the Club that causes players to leave, please don't pretend there is not as supporters who attend the games can see it for themselves, a bunch of players that have lost their wish to play under these circumstances! Look at other teams whereby if a Manager loses as many games and as many good players as Poole's Manager he would have sacked.

It's safe to say there is disharmony in the dressing room. The behind the scenes footage from the dressing room that used to be in the inside match day on YouTube is no longer there, and Jon who films it says it's so people can be free to say what they want.
Clearly the club wouldn't want what is being said behind closed doors to be in the public domain!
Still, we'll get to hear Tubbs rolling out the "we only want players at the club who want to be here" line after Saturdays inevitable defeat. What if everyone decided they don't want to be here?! Are we going to let them all go and play 5-a-side??!!

This is a shocker. A talented young winger with so much potential & we're letting him go... to a local rival... & at the business end of the season? I'd say we're selling the family silver, but it doesn't even look like he's commanding a fee. Concerned, very concerned.

According to the Dorchester website he was unhappy at Poole. It seems to me the whole of the Poole squad is unhappy and it's not going to change unless there is a managerial change. Give the job to Wes Fogden to the end of the season see what he can do.

The usual suspects are preparing a communique to tell us all is well!
We have to pray that we get enough points to avoid the drop!

It’s pretty obvious what’s happening. Tubbs has no man management skills and is losing the players one by one. I certainly wouldn’t want to work for him as it were.
Such a shame. It was a silly appointment it appears

I first watched Poole Town at 3 years of age. I last watched Poole Town at age 60. I have stewarded for three or so seasons and I held a season ticket for at least five years. After the news broke regarding the sacking of Tommy Killick I took a few days to reflect, then decided that my love affair with the club was at an end. Nothing has changed my view since.
I have nothing against Matt Tubbs, I know nothing about him. But I do know that TK had assembled a squad that he felt was capable of challenging for promotion this season. To my knowledge the current run of defeats has no equal since that infamous stay at The County Ground when our only point all season was through a 1-1 home draw against then rivals Bashley. At the time I was travelling to Poole from my job in Sheffield at weekends to watch our rearguard actions. At the end of the final game the Poole players were rightly clapped off the field by the opposing team. Despite a critical lack of funds and no home ground the club had completed the season. I felt proud for the players and all who worked behind the scenes to keep the club alive.
But here in the present day it is clear that all is not well within the club. I consider this karma, for want of a better description, for the Board and the dishonourable way in which TK was dismissed. Ridiculously poor timing too. In contrast Dorchester Town seem to be hitting form. It seems no coincidence that their management team and now SEVEN members of their squad are all ex Poole Town, an indicator of the abilities that they have brought to their new club. I think that whoever was behind the changes at PTFC this season should own up. Their miscalculation has severely damaged the club's reputation and equally its performance on the field. Though admission will not rectify the club's problems onfield it may restore some goodwill and faith amongst the fans, and also be the first step to renewed direction.
Good luck against Chesham today. Based on both team's form I think it will be needed...

Melvyn it was Andy Rossiter so I wouldn’t be waiting too long for an admission. There probably would’ve been a lot more comment from that quarter if we were winning!

Thank you. I had suspected that this was the case. However, I'm not one to start pointing fingers without being one hundred percent sure of my facts.

Expat you spend so much time endorsing and expousing the efforts of Wimborne why don’t you join their forum and buy a season ticket. Spending your time on their forum would save us reading your continuous drivel.

Yeah well it really is drivel as they go sailing by us in almost all aspects of the game
Attendance?? Any Comment on that
Performance?? Ditto
Facilities Best left unsaid
I know time and tide wait for no man BUT I can remember Wimborne toiling away in the nether regions of the Dorset League when we were in the NL's most prestigious Southern League, which only serves to remind me ( a Poole man born and bred) how far our club has fallen! So you might think it drivel but as in any business it pays to shine a light on the competition, and we will meeting WTFC in league play next season One Man.s drivel is another mans debating point

soccer is very successful in North America
Why??
Great facilities
Great Promotion by media
Increasingly higher levels of skills
brought about by Central and South American countries contributing players and older talent from Europe giving it a last go btw Some ex Poole talent gets out here too. Surridge ring a bell?
AND
most importantly
great contributions by local home grown" talent as soccer is accepted in all aspects for the great leveler it is in youth sport. Heck we even send talent over to Europe
Now; can i buy a ticket for the PTFC vs Wimborne DSC clash??

meanwhile up at New Cuthbury; Attendance 806 WTFC winning 2-1 against 8 Men!! Speaking of Wimborne…sad to see Torquay’s news this week. Should the administrator be called in, as seems highly possible, the subsequent 10 point deduction could put them in peril of relegation, not only bringing them into the orbit of Poole, Dorch & Winch next season, but likely a promoted Wimborne too Wonder if Tim Sills, Wembley hero of said parish, might be favourite to take the now vacant Gulls job ?

I recall not long after being appointed Tubbs saying that Poole were an elite club in this league. As a supporter of another club in SL Premier South it gives great pleasure to see this arrogance come home to roost. 7 straight defeats and an exodus of players, I’m not really bothered whether Tubbs stays or goes but it’s great entertainment. And I reckon most other clubs in the league will feel the same.

I don't like to pick out players but to sign a forward who's only scored 63 league goals in a ten year career is an absolute waste of time and will do nothing to get us out of the mess we're in now.

this is a completely different matter of this player leaving Perhaps so mate, but what is clear is that there is a revolving door scenario with players at the moment. No stability and no cohesion, right when we need it the most. Right now I believe we need to stick with what we've got (unless we get injuries), dig in and fight, because that's what we need, it's what the players need to show, even when we go behind, they need to show up and Grow a big set of cahunas, because if they don't we will go down.

That is probably not surprising - as ST has chosen Max as his first choice keeper (correct decision in my view).
