Interesting that the club state Pardoe and Monk left for budget reasons…. Yet the Dorchester statement says that Pardoe was unhappy at Poole and Weymouth statement says they chose to recall Frankie.
I would have thought we saved significant player wages when Tony Lee left to be able to bring in the 2 new forwards anyway.

I very rarely make posts on this forum other than when I post predictions in the prediction league. I thought I would put my views on the current situation.
I can understand why people are concerned about the current situation we are in. I genuinely believe that the run of 7 losses in a row will end on Tuesday night. I know we have lost players but we have gained players in the process. I believe that the current squad has the talent to keep us up and prevent us from going down.
I do think there needs to be far more optimism on this forum. Cmon everyone we are all supporters, so be supporters and back the lads at every single game.
We will definitely not be getting relegated and be patient. We will start winning and as soon as you know it, we will have enough points to avoid the drop.
KEEP THE FAITH and COYD !!!!

I get what you're saying but there's a difference between supporting the team during a match and voicing genuine, realistic concerns about the situation we're in. I cheer the team at every match, don't slag anyone off (although I came very close to screaming "just sack him will you?!"at Rossiter and Reeves after last Saturday) but am struggling to be too optimistic in the face of everything recently. The manager we have is worse than the one we sacked, I've seen nothing that convinces me otherwise in his pitchside manner, tactics or results both here and at his previous club. Good players are leaving and whatever is said about balancing the books doesn't really stack up as has already been pointed out above by dolphin. You're asking us to be more optimistic because we will soon (hopefully) have enough points to not be relegated. Think how crazy that would have sounded in August when were promised investment for a tilt at the title! |

Agreed, I don't believe we will be relegated. I believe we will get enough to be safe. But just think about that for a second..... would you have said that back in August/September? Things are far from rosey in the garden right now and we are absolutely within our right to question what is happening. Do I still want Poole to win against Plymouth? Unquestionably yes! Do I want them to win every game? Same answer! Do I think we will? On current form no! So you ask why, why are we losing every week at the moment? Why are we struggling to score goals? Why is there so much discontent around the team? Amd that is what we are doing, but then we get told to Keep the faith, be patient, trust the process, etc.... keep faith in what? We are looking over our shoulder at the teams below us, and while we probably won't go down, it's not certain that we won't! And to say that is damning of how far we have fallen and what we have become under Rossiter & Tubbs. I'm tired of hearing these meaningless statements coming out from the club! It's just Guff. |
