Well done to the new management and players for tonight's victory. That means we have done the double over the third placed team. More importantly - avoided 8 defeats in a row and earned an invaluable 3 points.
May be our luck has changed - as Gosport down to 10 for over half the game - but who cares!
Now lets get some consistency and follow it up with a home victory on Saturday

A good solid professional performance tonight even with 11 men gosport didn't massively threaten us, them going down to 10 and goals being scored makes a world of difference! Well done lads!
Great reading and listening to whisks comments after signing for next season, not jumping ship after a rough time Poole through and through!

The Twitter (sorry X) minute by minute report didn't mention a sending off for Gosport until the end. What happened?

So dissapointing to not follow up a great win against Gosport with a home win. Just shows how fragile we are at the moment. Looking at the table, and it's so tight at the bottom, 4 points separate 11th & 18th. The gap to 19th is bigger at 10 points, that gives us breathing space, and some confidence we should be OK, still, it's not good viewing.

what happened? More red cards!! more yeLLow cards! check flashscore!! check WTFC twitter. They are on our heels Our goal now has to be survival on and off the field! Don't care about Wimborne Expat, worry about them when and if we play them next season

head to head today;they had 626 in attendance
and ours was?
So i AM worried that some punters may not come back, and its no use dismissing them as moaners and unfaithful because what are we going to do to about it? Well yes we need to sign and field NLS ready talent to win promotion AND we have to give the faithful a tangible hope that better times are ahead
any more pie on the sky promises are not going to cut it
As i have noted before just think in the last two or three seasons how many contributors who were on this site every week and now no longer appear. What has happened to them? Once fans get disillusioned it takes a long time to win them back.

What has happened to them? Once fans get disillusioned it takes a long time to win them back. You clearly miss the point of being a football fan. They don’t just change their allegiance based on what’s happening up the road. People may moan and groan, and by god you should know about that, but they still turn up every week supporting the team they love. Once in the blood it’s difficult to walk away and support another club no matter how bad things become. True fans, of which I believe you are one though it’s difficult to tell at times, stick by their team through the good and bad times. Yes things are tough atm but, unless you are actually watching every game, you won’t realise how hard the players are working and how little reward they are getting for their efforts. Yes we need strengthening in certain areas which will hopefully be addressed in the summer when quality players are actually available and out of contract but things are not as bad as some would like to think. There is still a great team spirit and togetherness and it all comes down to very fine margins. One look at the results week in week out will tell you that. Anyone can beat anyone. We still have the basis of a very good team but it just needs a little tweaking with one or two signings. As for the many contributors that no longer appear on here, well maybe take a good look in the mirror. Many are fed up with yours and others constant negativity and moaning. It achieves absolutely NOTHING! And don’t even suggest that those of us that are trying to remain positive are burying our heads in the sand because nothing could be further from the truth. We can all see the problems we face, we all know what is happening elsewhere with clubs that are on the up (for now) and we are all disappointed how things currently are but the best way to get through this is to remain positive, support our chosen team and back it through this difficult period in the Clubs history. After all, far, far bigger clubs than us have seen much darker times than we’re experiencing and have come through it stronger and better for the experience, one of which just happen to be up the road! COY 🐬🐬

I worked the Turnstile today for Pippa. And casually asked quite a few of our season ticket holders and old faces why do they not engage with the Forum anymore!!!, I have to be honest so many referred to the SAME constant doom n gloom and regurgitating info posted, but tbf I never realised just how many mentioned you Expat, I assume you must be more popular than I’d realised. 😉 apologies to you.
