I have been a fan of Poole for 70 years through thick and thin, but have not attended matches recently. I have a job to comprehend what is happening at this club' call me a keyboard warrior if you want but it is completely unacceptable. Just 4 points off the relegation zone and the position is now critical. Just where are any points coming from the present set up of the management team which the was the wrong choice anyway in my opinion. It's all very well talking about the future of the club but we have to face facts and live in the present. I don't wish to see the club relegated. There is something very wrong going on at in the dressing room and the club in general.

This game was a 6 pointer, against one of the poorest teams in the league on current form, and they embarrassed us on our home patch. We are in dire straits. If Matt Tubbs looked lost in the dug out, then the current mob look just as bad. Zero leadership on and off the pitch, confidence amongst the team looks shot. The games we need to target are the two against Parkway and Didcot, 9pts from that will pretty much keep us up, but at the moment we ain't looking like scoring let alone winning!

The 600 who paid to watch this utter rubbish should be reimbursed by Rossiter. All we are getting from Ellis is the same drivel spouted by Tubbs. What a huge mistake this was to hire these two. I listened to Rossiter’ s podcast and thought he made some half decent points. On reflection I think he is a dreamer who is wasting his time and money shuffling around at a club that is going nowhere fast. On reflection we are going fast unless something or someone changes DOWN !!!

It was simply dire. We were the better side for 40 minutes but typically as soon as we went behind it went completely tits up.
Not sure what kind of team talk the management gave at half time but the 2nd half was appalling and just about the worst we've been all season. If we perform like that in upcoming games we'll be relegated without a doubt.

Absolutely appalling, by far the worst game I’ve seen in my 25 years watching Poole Town, everyone around me was in agreement and absolutely shocked at the way things are going. Daylight robbery charging me £12 to be honest

I see Dorch beat second placed Salisbury. Poole have lost ten out of eleven, Dorch are currently third in the form guide, unbeaten in ten out of eleven and have now leapfrogged Poole in the league table. If only we had their manager and half of their team. Oh, I forgot, a few months ago we did.... :-(

TK only won 2 and lost 8 of his first 12 games at Dorch but I don't recall anyone saying we made the wrong decision bringing him in. Dorch have now won 7 and lost only 1 of the last 12 and there is a great atmosphere around the ground. Can't believe your Directors wanted rid of him. Don't want to see you guys relegated, a couple more wins should be enough to see you safe,so good luck for the rest of the season

Without that director, it is quite possible the club may have gone into administration or worse. As no one else was rushing forward to provide the funds to see the club through the start of the post covid & the need to see the club through the numerous home postponements due to a waterlogged pitch. We could have been back in the Wessex League, DPL or worse, in no league at all as the Poole Dolphins could have gone extinct. He has made mistakes. Let's hope he has taken on board the advice on how to maybe do things better in the future. If we had the scheduled 2/3 home matches a month, the club would be getting around £10 to £15 thousand a month. Enough to cover the wage bill & other expenses. I am sure all of the BOD have had to dig deep into their own pockets this season, not just one. Now we have one month to play about 6 months worth of home matches, the funds will be able to pay them back. Or maybe they will let the club keep the cash, to build a fund to start next season with a bang.

Or…. You can live within your means. There are many teams in our league with much much smaller playing budgets that are above us in the table.
It’s all well and good having these very ambitious plans to be a national/football league side but you have to have the infrastructure, finance and support to align with those ambitions.
By now being so reliant on this individuals financing, sadly despite being very nice people with their heart in their right place, the rest of the board have to take their share of the blame for the mess that we now find ourselves in.
