Hopefully when tommy decides to move on from Dorchester we could get a chance at snatching him, but unfortunately he seems to be a loyal manager who chooses to stay at clubs for 20 odd years with lots of success throughout. whos idea was it to sack him again? come in here and explain yourself.

I remember thinking when Tommy went to Dorchester that if they went above us in the league, the beaters would have a field day. Well done for being predictable. I beat the drum for Poole Town so while I look at Dorchester’s results, in the same way I look at Sholing and other teams around us. New manager here that seems to be the right calibre so let’s get behind him.

I’m disappointed in this. Once a decision like that is made it can’t be undone

Did everyone forget that his best result for us was reaching the playoffs in the national league south. The only reason we didn’t potentially get promoted and allowed to play in the playoffs is because Tatnam was not up to standard( how hard it must have been to keep his players motivated after that) He also won the Wessex premier 3 times? Because Tatnam wasnt up to standard then it took 3 seasons to get promoted.. Despite all this Tommy killick stood with Poole when he had the pedigree to manage higher teams. The board who have failed to get the ground necessary for promotion granted not their whole fault, have turned on him and fired him. Also worth mentioning he had some incredible FA vase cup runs and nurtured young talent such as Charlie Austin (who I bet won’t be so supportive of Poole in the future because of this) and the positive notoriety that could have come from having the longest serving manager in the football pyramid.
Peeping Tom had the commitment and passion that you can’t buy and the board took it for granted

Yes,it could've been handled better, but its done. I class Tom as a friend but now,we must get behind the new gaffer & the team. April is gonna one of the most important months in the clubs history, we need everyone's support.

Yes we know TK isn't coming back, that's clear. But why should we just accept what was, and still proves to be an absolute stupid decision? We are in our worst run of form for decades, we are very much in a relagation battle all because of one decision that started it all, yet anyone who questions this decision and hold them to account, should just get on with it and deal with it. Whilst I will be supporting the team amd willing them to win every game they play, it doesn't mean we don't hold to account and question the people who put us in this precarious position.

What do you suggest then? A revolution? I know we're in a relegation battle,& I think we're gonna struggle, but, however peed off we are with the BODs decision we just can't change it! We can moan as much as we want on here,& questions have put to a board member on a couple of shows,he's answered them as honestly as possible. I don't know quite what you're suggesting we do?

No one is suggesting a revolution Parky, bit silly to allude that those who are most vociferous in our current plight want that. To be honest,I don't know what to do, all I have at the moment is my voice, whether that's on here or at Tatnam. What is clear is that we both want the same thing. A stable and successful Poole Town FC. At the moment we have neither, so while I have my voice, I will use it. Now you don't have to agree with what I say, you don't have to like it, that you're prerogative, and I respect that. But it won't stop me from voicing my views or opinions regarding the mismanagement of our club during this campaign.

Speaking of opinions it seems that I am no longer able to comment on Poole Town Official Facebook posts. That's rich considering that I used to steward, and as a professional with a door supervisor license, remained calm in the face of idiots snarling 2cm from my face (Bournemouth lads,Vs Corby), etc, etc. As a supporter for 57 years I am silenced. Seriously? The club has lost all integrity. Sad but true.

Don't worry just say that Rossiter is the best thing to have happened to the club since sliced bread and you can put as many posts as you like on here.

Arguably there has been mismanagement several times over the years BD. Like you I disagree with how Tommy left and the terms, allowing him to take 3 first teamers. In hindsight it probably should have happened after the NLS relegation but I thought, and told a member of the board that he should stay.
It is right that people can raise their concerns as long as they are civil. Although I do not do as much at the club as I once did, I do believe that the two major shareholders have are there for the right reasons. Both are successful local businessmen and that is how clubs like ours are usually run. We all saw the pics of Andy Rossiter forking the pitch recently and I have seen Richard Gale pressure washing the advertising hoardings pre season with his trainers cover almost covered in water.
I rather suspect that had Steve Tully been appointed earlier, we would not be in this mess although a run like this is unusual even taking into account some past seasons. However we are where we are and we keep plugging away.
Having said all that we have just gone 1-2 down to Merthyr ☹️

If Poole escape relegation the chances are it will be because other teams in the relegation zone continue to lose. The team seems incapable of saving themselves.

Sholing dropping points from a winning position against Didcot, H&Y losing to Dorchester, Tivvy getting thumped by Totton & Plymouth not playing helped. However we dropped a place as Hanwell drew but with us losing 3-1, meant GD played its part. Still 3pts away from the relagation zone. Seems like no one wants to stay up in this relagation fight

Looking at the teams below us, Plymouth and Sholing look like the teams we need to stay ahead of, Tiverton have the kindest run in and will likely jump ahead of us I feel. Poole vs Plymouth on the 16th and Sholing vs Tiverton on the last day of the season look massive for what happens to us. Fingers crossed we get a win from somewhere and regroup in the summer.

So, presumably , everyone is praying that Poole In Exile, ie Dorchester Town, help pull our nads out of the fire by beating Sholing on Tuesday. It's a good job that Dorch are on their best run in 19 YEARS! How can this be? How can they have improved so much? No prizes for guessing...What a shambles for PTFC. I had more pride in the club when we finished a season with one point. The repercussions of UTTER STUPIDITY early in the season are still being felt. Good luck to the boys over the remainder of the season, the pressure is on. But the club's situation stems solely from the Board. We should be in the top five now: we had the manager, we had the squad. Time to dig deep....
