Is it a bird, is it a plane, is it a win yeah! With all due respects to Chubby Checker we now have to try to get 5 or six points to stay up. So will two buses wins come at once?
The predictions on the Football Web Pages site for Poole are as follows:
Poole 0-1 Merthyr Poole 0-1 Winchester Poole 0-1 Beaconsfield Poole 0-0 Plymouth Poole 1-1 Didcot Walton 2-1 Poolens, 2dra
Ironically, apart form Didcot, all the above opponents have had 2 wins, two draws and two defeats in their last 6 games
So 2 points from 6 games. Looking at the form, that is hard to justify except that the Tully Dolphins really debut on Saturday against Merthyr.
IMHO Didcot should be a 3 pointer and hopefully the next three game will result in some points or am I a cock-eyed optimist? Of course I am and I can only hope that Mr Tully has brought is magic wand from Bristol.
Where are the other points coming from?

You could also add where are the goals coming from? 2 scored in the last 7, with both those games ending in defeat.Last time we scored more than 1 was the win away at an indifferent Gosport. Didcot and Parkway are the games to aim for, anything else will be a bonus. 4pts from those two games and we should be safe..... just

Sadly the predictor highlights our biggest weakness atm, that of scoring goals! This was perfectly summed up last night by Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner: "The summary is easy - if you don't score a goal, you can't win”. That was born out on Saturday against a very poor Parkway team that really should have resulted in 3 points closer to safety. Instead we left with nothing! The predictions only have us down to score twice in 6 games which, on current form, is not far off. As a result we may need to rely heavily on others to keep us up which is far from ideal. Here’s hoping we can throw the form book out of the window and cement our place in the division and give Steve Tully the backing he needs to really push on next season.

With Didcot down, Beaconsfield & Winchester little to play for & Walton probably out of the play-off picture come the final day of the season, I too think there's enough points for the taking to keep us up. Whilst we're not free scoring, we have tightened up & there's plenty of fight in the lads. I'm sure we can do it. COYD!
