Congratulations to AFC Totton on their semi final play off victory last night and in particular to Tony Lee for scoring the all important opening goal for them in their 2-1 victory. Love him or not, no-one in their right mind would ever bet against him scoring. I for one would love to see him do it agaain against Salisbury. Gone but never to be forgotten.

Made for interesting reading over the breakfast table. Based on what limited information has been released by the club
I have to admit to being somewhat surprised by some of the decisions. Can see one or two more joining T.K. in the close season. Guess we just have to wait to see what the future holds. I want to be optomistic but of late there has been little to encourage hope.

Its a matter of opinion but the manager will stand or fall by the results he gets so he has to do what he thinks is best. Myself I would have retained two of the players released and released two of players retained.

Myself I would have retained two of the players released and released two of players retained. Agreed. Manager has to work with these lads on a regular basis. Some may have difficult personalities that test tolerance, some may not fit future tactical plans, some may play in positions the manager has plans to fill with someone else, etc |

i think DORCHESTER&WIMBOURNE Will be looking at some off our released players. So what Mr Tully didn’t feel they were what he wanted, surely we should be happy they’ve found another club? I’m not knocking any player being released indeed I liked a couple that have been, but we finished below halfway with the previous current squad so clearly a major overhaul is required otherwise we could end up with another mid table finish and wish those that might be headed to Dorch or Wimborne good luck if it materialises? |
