Very quiet on here regarding new signings. Flurry of activity - particularly in midfield - all on official website.
How are people feeling about signings so far?

A promising start. Steve Tully said his biggest wish for the summer was Toby Holmes' signature & he's got his man. Three new attack minded midfielders should provide the assists & also take some of the goalscoring burden that Toby shouldered so well during last season's run in. Early days but things starting to take shape.

Guys - good to hear others views.
You are right - still early days. Potentially promising attacking midfield signings - my biggest concern was both coming back from significant injuries - so lets hope they are fully fit and no recurrence.

Completely agree & bitterly disappointed. In an otherwise disappointing season, Harvey was brilliant, giving his all every game & rightly recognised by teammates & fans alike as player of the season. He will be a huge miss & a very tough act to follow. Let's hope we have a suitable replacement lined up 🤞

We have had a less than glorious start to our last two campaigns so a "hot off the blocks" start will create a lot of interest If i show up at Tatnam in September will the Twa Robbies let me throught the turnstile!!@!@. Yes - quite surprised how many midfielders - but some strong looking contenders in there.
I am sure news will follow soon on the other positions.

Midfielders make sense given Tully prefers a 4-3-3 or 4-1-3-2 so we’ll need 5/6 centre midfielders to have enough depth.

It seems that we still need to sign some further players like a couple of goal keepers and also further defence players - time is getting short as the best keepers available have been snapped up!

Why oh why are people banging on about we need a GK, do you not think Mr Tully might not realise this  Any current contracted at another club GK technically can’t sign anything and therefore can’t be announced I think June 10th is when registration is permitted, Steve has already shown he has connections far afield as borne out by his recent acquisition from Burton, and I suspect he might have a few more irons in the fire for any other positions he feels needed improvement from last seasons squad? Just be patient!!! |

I am certain Andy Rossiter is good friends with the BAFC chairman, so maybe he is pulling a few strings, it would be great if he has any influence with Coops at YTFC and could get a couple of loanees from there, Big Frank would be a coup.
