Just been watching the latest friendly which was 2-0 to Dorking against very poor Poole side. No outstanding new Poole players. Much the same as last year with no game plan.

A lot of work to do before the season starts.

I'm not sure what you expect from a friendly. We were playing a team from a higher league and there were multiple substitutions and triallists. We created a couple of good chances so could easily have been 2-2. Ty Clarke and Tyler Forbes look very very good for our league. I can't wait for the new season to start!

God sake...its a pre season friendly!!! What do you expect Brazil 1970 perhaps? Nobody was on here during the week when we beat shaftesbury 3-0. I remember a few seasons back, we lost every pre season game & went onto win the league! Chill, give Tully time. And I question why I can't be bothered to come on here very often!🤯😉

Pre season friendlies are really glorified training sessions so think people need to chill.

Okay, I accept the above comments and my previous comments were said very much tongue in cheek, but even so you still expect value for money. The bulk of what I saw from Poole yesterday was no better than what could be seen for free at many a Dorset League match. People expect value for money and that was blatantly missing.

Two preseason friendlies in, one won, one lost, one against a team below us, one above us, both were competitive. Plenty still to do, ST will be well aware of that. Nothing to be concerned about, let's just chill....
