Sad news to report:
Lisa the Goalkeeper for the Ladies suffered a neck injury in today's game at Tatnam. She was taken to Poole hospital and is in a lot of pain and discomfort. She will have a scan tomorrow.
We hope it is not too serious and she makes a speedy and full recovery.

sterteroad, FYL my niece currently plays for Poole Town FC Ladies . So your continuing petty comments regarding boycott's being organised by myself & IIhoover are just plain ridiculous!!

That is indeed the couple that travelled with us yesterday and were sat with us in the clubhouse.
Agreed with your coment to Barney. This thread is about Lisa and what could be a serious injury. I hope he does not post on this thread again and even removes his post from this thread. He did not even wish Lisa well. That could even have been his own neice out there that got injuerd.

I have just seen Lisa this morning after I finished my shift, she is still in a lot of pain and a bit groggy from the pain killers. She is still awaiting another scan today but no news as of yet. Was thinking we could do a quick whip round for her as she is going to be out of action for a while!!

Went to Lisa tonight, she is good spirts and talking about coming to the game on saturday. Although still in a lot of pain, she may be able to go home tomorrow.

Hi just wanted to say a huge thankyou for all your messages of support it was a very kind and thoughtful gesture. I am still in hospital at the moment and currently unsure when will be allowed home as still in loads of pain - the girls behind the bar have been fantastic though keeping me up to date with all the action. A big thank you once again and hope to see you all soon at tatnam as soon as i am out and able - weekends just arent the same without the footie cheers lisa xx

Hi all - good news at last - they have finally let me home !!- now reduced to daytime tv for at least next month as unable to go back to work yet - still, having lots of rest so hopefully can come down for a few matches soon - thanks again for all your support and best wishes its been very much appreciated
