The uner18's are currently in Holland trying to win the Haarlem Cup again. Yesterday they started off with a defeat 1-0 against a team from Cheshire then went from strength to strength beating a team from the USA 12-0. Today they have played 2 games won 12-0 against a team from India and then won 3-0 against a team from Germany. This puts them through from the group stages into the knock out stages which start tomorrow. Solid defending and starting to score plenty of goals. The future looks good.

Second group stage. Won first game against English opposition 2-1, then cheated out of the second game against a team from Holland. Drew 0-0 had goal dissalowed and a penalty turned down when jordan Fisk went down in the box. 2 games tomorrow if we win both we will be through.

Well done!! Thanks davetong for keeping us updated on their progress. I think this deserves a welcome to all the Under 18's team and they should be invited to be present at the first league game and that they should show us the trophy!Great achievement and all looks well for the future with Poole Town FC.

Yes the cup will soon be back in Dorset. Yes it would be great if the Echo could do a story on their achievements.

I have not seen anything in the Echo yet about the Under 18's
Suggest that they are invited to the first home game for a 'Photo call' and inform the Echo that it is happening. That might get some coverage.
If not then send in a photo of the team with the write up and that should help.

Have just heard that we have been promoted to Division1 of the South West Youth League.Hamworthy United should have gone up but declined because of the extra travelling involved and so we have gone up to take their place.

If anyone knows the goalscorers and has comments about the team on their trip to Holland please can they put them on the site so that they can be put in the programme. I have helped with the scores off the Haarlem cup site and got a team photo off facebook but we need some help from there on .
