A few new comments have been posted and one of those is an objection from a lady in Merley. As with the other objection, the issues are covered in the club's submission and so it should be possible to win her over with the facts and reasoned discussion. So 400+ versus 2!
Everyone that submitted a comment will be informed at least 5 days before the planning meeting at which the application will be discussed. This is likely to be the 10th February and will be held at the Civic Centre, Poole. It will be open to the public.
I am not sure whether all 400+ interested parties will fit into the meeting room but I for one will be watching out for two in particular. I will be very surprised if either Mr C Austin or Mr Bob Marley attend the meeting.

I thought comments were inadmissable after the closing date John or were these latest ones within the time scale but just delayed in appearing on the Council's web site?
Still 400+ to 2 is pretty good odds and considering that refusal must be on 'planning isues' I'm very hopeful this time.
I don't understand your reference to CA and BM! Explain please.
I wonder what Dolphins fans would opt for if they had to choose between a new home and winning the FA Vase!

Brian, both CA and Bob Marley supported the application but Charlie is likely to be up North by then. Bob Marley was a spoof probably from a supporter of a rival team.

heard a few moans today from locals as they thought that the boot sale would finish when we moved .. in As I understand it the car boot will finish once we move in. Were they unhappy that the car Boot will stop0 or that it might continue?

At the public meeting they all seemed pleased that the booty will stop. The roads get very congested there on a Sunday morning. There is another one recently started in the arena itself but access and parking are much better and as it is that bit further away, it shouldn't affect the Bearwood locals.

I seem to remember that back in November it was said that there was 18 months left on that lease. So 16 months would take us to about June 2012. I don't know what would happen during building.
