I have posted this in the sticky thread but thought it worthwhile to give it a thread of its own. I have created an easy on-line form that does not require registration with the council. It requires you to enter name address etc. then sends the result directly to the Planning Dept at PBC and a copy to your email address providing your email address was entered correctly. Please note that this is a live form so please read through the preview before you send it. www.poolebaymedia.co.uk/Poole-Town-FC-Planning-Application_Poole-Town-FC-Planning-App.htmlYou can send this link to anyone but it must be used by 7th Jan.

thx john for this format. I had to cheat a little bit on the Postal Code(I used Swanage Railway Station!!)........and to those thinking that artificial turf is pie in the sky, read the Echo article on the tremendous and growing NL fixture back log. I think it would be well worth costing out and i do not have any commercial axe to grind.

Expat, unless we win the Euromillions there is no hope of astro turf, plus our players don't need lots of shoulder pads ;D

The second pitch at Bearwood is planned to be a 3rd generation artificial pitch. However competitive games cannot be played on 3G pitches. The other problem is that with a lot of grounds, when cold weather strikes, the pitch is OK but the walkways and terraces are unsafe for spectators.

Just an update, the form has been used 10 or more times since it was put up. Thanks to those that have used is as it took several hours to get working. Those hours now seem very worthwhile and we should see these submissions appear from Tuesday.

Just an update for everyone. I am astounded.
I put the form up last Thursday 30th and expected a handful of people to use it. I get a report sent to me everyday that tells me how may times it has been used and so far the form has been used 32 times. Thank you all very much.

Another update:
The online form has now been used 47 times and add that to the 153 completed paper forms. Thanks to Dick Thomas, Rob Bayston, Sam Bumford and Fran Lee/Sterteroad/Dylan for their help in this.
I contacted PBC planning dept this morning at 9.30 and they say that due to the backlog over Xmas, there will be a short delay before either paper or easyform submissions appear on the website.
Since then he first easyform submissions have appeared and the comment count now stands at 78 (documet count of 89 includes all reports and plans etc). I have to check again but I believe that that is 77 for and 1 against.
Oh and I bought a red hat last night just before the rain... Result!

Current totals are: - Paper Forms 153
- Easy online form 137
- Direct submission to Poole Borough Council Estimated 58
Total 348. However some people said that they would send their forms to PBC directly, and both online systems are still being used. 400 is a realistic target but let's aim for 500. We will know next week but I'll do an update again tomorrow.
