Now that the Planning Application has been submitted the Board have requested that EVERYONE please email or contact the Poole Council Planning Dept to show your support. The Application Number is APP/10/01493/F. The Planning section of the website can be found here -> boroughofpoole.com/go.php?structureID=categories&ref=C46448369E0D15I then clicked the 'Public Access Planning Applications Viewer' and registered myself. I then searched for the application using the number above and I was then able to leave a public comment (these can take up to 7 days before being visible on the application). Faxes, emails and letters to the Council Planning are all welcome too - email address seems to be planning@poole.gov.uk. Make sure you quote the Planning number. You MUST show your support and get as many people to do the same. Just because everyone is positive this time around does not mean we can relax believing the job is done. Please ACT NOW.

Hi Rob, Yes - once you have the application up on the screen you should have some tabs across the middle of the screen - 'Details', 'Comments', 'Documents' etc. If you click the 'Documents' tabs and scroll to the bottom this is where the comments will appear. You will see our esteemed CD's there already and ours should appear once approved.

Their are now 17 comments FOR and 0 against showing on the PBC website. This is encouraging as usually the "Anti" vote is mobilised first. Can we assume that there is no formal or organised opposition?

Official notices now up along the boundary to inform residents. The notice in the Echo should be in shortly. This will bring out into the open any objectors.

Several of my contacts - all far away and therefore not so effective as locals - have e-mailed planing@poole.gov.uk with the planning aplication number and, in some cases, some good points in support.

Yes Brian I see your influence. In fact there are now 23 Consultation responses and all are in favour.
It is too soon to count chickens but I believe that any organised, rabid opposition as we have seen in the past is now unlikely. Lets keep our fingers crossed that there is nothing else in the plannind process that can come back to bite us on the derrière.

On the council web site first serious objection to our plans. This is the sort of guy who will knock on doors, tell friends and mobalise support.Whilst many have posted support it is nowhere near enough, all the fans who view this forum need their voices heard to put this guy and no doubt his friends into a big minority. If not we can all look forward to another Branksome Wreck.
Log on to Poole Council website. Click Public Access Planning Applications Viewer. Click on Advanced. In Application Reference APP/10/01493/F Then click search at the bottom of the page. Register and add your support.
If all you that VIEW decide to DO then please take 5 Mins if you really want to support PTFC.

My wife is putting a support in. I've read Mr Gaussen's objection. Has anybody from the Club tried to contact him?, as his comments seem reminiscent of some of the misinformation there was courtesy of Messrs Eades, Rose etc.

Well said Dubchek.
I have to say that I am disappointed with the lack of effort of most supporters in this area. In my programme notes for Brading, which didn't happen, I wrote:
If you posted your support for Branksome, thanks, but it was not enough we lost. Please encourage more to post their support this time around. If you did not post your support for Branksome, perhaps you and the others might have made the difference. If we do not get Bearwood in Feb due to lack of interest then please do not complain about Wessex football next season.
Post your support now
