Going past there quite regularly now.............it's not that far out of town. Much better access and parking facilities. Opposing teams would find it easier to find I would think, certainly Wimborne will. I can see us playing there, we deserve a proper stadium as a club. We've earned it, not only the performances on the field but there has been a lot of hard work done off the field. COYD

just to say this is being actively pursued we need to get on with all the meetings and paperwork without making a fuss about putting everything into the public domain-be patient guys - there's a long way to go but the project is definitely not gathering dust!!!

First post for me so be gentle with me.
What is the information about Canford Arena?
There is just a hint about negotiations on the home page.

Thanks Mark. I have been using pooletownfootballclub.easysearch.org.uk/ since this morning instead of Google but as you suggested, found the site on Google Earth. As the estate agents say "it has potential". Will now wait quietly in anticipation, whiling away the hours searching for things on pooletownfootballclub.easysearch.org.uk/ and slowly paying for the new facilities. Good luck with the negotiations.

Thanks chienmort - I went on easysearch today and it says that if you go on line via easysearch 10 times a day for a year you'll be earning £20.00 for PTFC. That's 1/20th of a penny for each go. It may not sound much but is, in fact, rather better than - for example - supermarkests equipment for schools voucher schemes (scams) in which the vouchers are worth about one hundredth of a penny each!
You're right slepe - as usual!

I believe that part of Canford Arena is currently the home of Branksome Utd Youth FC? Looks like the same scenario as BR! once again!
