Hope it's Lancaster City!!!! Brian, if my memory is correct, you can see their ground from the train station, and there are some fine hostelries in the area

For some clarification, as I only learnt some facts myself last night:
Wessex rules state that a Wessex Prem Club can not ground share. That means if we go up, we can not share with a Wessex Prem club, EVEN if their ground meets the Step 4 standard. That rules out some considerations that were being posted.

I thought the ground share idea was to avoid being in the predicament we found ourselves in this year again i.e. to avoid being denied promotion again should we win it next year and Branksome not be ready or not an option. Is that right? Also, I thought dorsetyellow was our 'commercial manager' or are dy and commercialmanager one and the same?

For the record, we are one and the same. I have a split personality. DY you know as the football mad U that became a red. Commercialmanager is the professional side that represents the club. The idea is that new people posting will recognise my position from my username and that may lead to other contact.
Back to the topic - Promotion and Ground Share relates to the start of the 2010/11 season assuming we are building the ground, but not complete.

I can see the building delays now - stuffy old tory nimbies wading across the dog-crap strewn park (for the first time in their lives), lying down in front of the JCB's, placards aloft "NIMBY'S HAVE RIGHTS". What an image.
Disclaimer - This is a personal thought and does not represent Poole Town FC in any way whatsoever.
