There was an article in the echo on Saturday about the signing of Leigh Phillips, and it also stated that they hoped to complete the stand during the season so doubt it will be ready for the beginning of the season.

I will be attending the Poole Town v AFCB game, and hopefully a few more this season. Started following Poole's progress late last season and will hopefully go and see a few matches this year for the first time. One thing is for sure though, if the town does get behind the club and attendance figures rise as well they should being a town of our size, we will soon be back somewhere near where a town our size should be. Havent been past the ground in a while, may well do sometime today though.

If the stand is to be completed for the start of the season then they want to get on with it IMO, drove past the ground a couple of days ago and whilst there was a huge pile of earth and and a space where the stand will be nothing else appears to be happening. Hopefully though the stand will be ready in time...

New dugouts have been purchased and are due to be installed ready for the AFC game. The club have been delayed by red tape re the installation of the stand.the club have the whole of next season to put it up, but hope to have it in place by late september I believe
