we haven't gone to sleep on this!!
our planning consultants have been negotiating terms re documentation to give effect to the required conditions to attach to the planning permission. This has not proved easy.
a month ago we had got to the point where we felt we were "nearly there". The Planning Officer (time of year) was then away for 3 weeks and everything was on hold.
He was back on Monday and we have picked up the negotiations again. Today was a good day. We are close now to having a workable permission which will permit us to pick up the reins again re the battle to get funding.
We remain on the case-if any one has a magic wand or two we might be able to put it to good use!!

Thank you very much Chris. I'll be in touch if I win the Lottery (Euro or national) ;D ;D ;D right on Brian...i already have a sum in mind if the golden goose flies over!!.....meanwhile we have serious work to do on and off the field, a win today will help to keep the juices flowing. UP THE TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWN after reading the recent Echo articles on Chris Reeves and the down and up fortunes of PTFC we certainly live in interesting times and to paraphrase Brian again OUR PURPOSE IS ONGOING PROMOTION

Looking far head - if the money is there, how far could this ground be expanded? I know counting my chickens etc but just wondering.

Loungebar, I cannot talk for the club but inmy opinion the main thing, as you go up the pyramid, is the number of seats. There is plenty of room to add seats if and when required.
There would be no need to expand the actual stadium although if needed, the site could take an alternative layout.
