Whilst the men were working hard to secure a vital point in their bid for league success - the ladies were once again playing at the County Ground in a bid to retain the County Cup.
Having beaten last years finalists Parley Sports emphatically 6-1 in the semi final, the ladies faced Dorchester Town in this years final.
In front of a good crowd, the ladies played some great football and ran out clear winners - winning 6-0, although it easily have been more, to retain the Cup
Goalscorers were Bev Symes, Shelley Towers, Rebecca Miles, Chloe Newton, Sam Gubb and Sacha Paynter.
Well done ladies - Champions of Dorset ⚽️

One of my regrets this season is that I haven't been able to see the Ladies teams often enough. They're always well fought games with skill and passion in abundance. Well done girls.

I think it would be great to have the Poole Town Ladies team introduced on Saturday before the game for us to honour their achievements
